LUV: Lunar Universal Vanguard

When humanity first reached out into the cosmos, it established some of its first interstellar settlements on the Moon to save on dwindling fuel reserves. As time passed and new technologies were developed, those initial moon colonies continued to be humankind's most extensive base of outer space development. So, when the hostilities of space began to emerge, it was then that the Moon's Lunar Universal Vanguard was formed to defend the Moon, the Earth, and all of humanity.
